Continuous coursework assessment, written assignments, and an original research dissertation.

Award rules

  • MSc: complete all courses with a CGPA of 3.00 or higher and successfully defend the thesis.
  • Exit Postgraduate Diploma: CGPA of 2.50–2.99 at the end of Semester 2.

The MSc is conferred by the University Senate of the University of Gezira.

Is there an exit award?

Yes. Candidates who complete Semester 2 with a CGPA of 2.50–2.99 receive a Postgraduate Diploma in HPE.

Is it fully online?

Yes. All coursework and dissertation supervision are online, including the dissertation defence.
