Dr Hammor graduated from the Faculty of Medicine- University of Gezira, Sudan in 2001. He completed General internal medicine training in Sudan & KSA and Specialist Training in Medical Oncology in Ireland . He achieved MRCPUK, 2011 , FRCP(Edin) & FRCP(Lond) 2014 and undertook examinations of the American Society of Clinical Oncologists, 2018 - 2020 and of the European Society of Medical Oncologists, 2018 and was awarded Specialist Certification in Clinical Oncology by the Confederation of RCP and the Association of Cancer Physicians, 2020. Dr Hammor attained a Master of Science in health professions education (MHPE) from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Gezira in 2018. He is involved in health professions education he is an advocate for continuous education and research
