Dr. Mohamed Hassan Taha, MB.BS, PG Dip, MHPE, PhD, , FAcadMEd
Dr. Mohamed Hassan Taha is a highly qualified and experienced medical education consultant with a strong background in health professions education. He has a wide range of expertise in curriculum development, social accountability, teaching and learning, online learning and engagement, and learning environment. Dr. Taha has completed his medical education (MBBS) at the University of Gezira and pursued his Master and Doctor of Philosophy in Health Professions Education. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Educators in the UK. He has more than 15 years of experience in medical education in Sudan, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. Dr. Taha currently works as a consultant in medical education for several medical schools in the region and globally. He has also worked as a consultant in developing competency frameworks at the undergraduate and postgraduate level, both nationally and regionally.
Dr. Taha is a member of the international panel of experts of the ASPIRE Award at the Association for Medical Education in Europe (AMEE) and The Network: Towards Unity For Health (TUFH). He is also an active researcher with a strong interest in curriculum development and social accountability, teaching and learning, online learning and engagement, and learning environment. He is currently affiliated with the Medical Education Center and College of Medicine University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates
